WILLIE ROBINSON SR.

July 31, 1954 - March 5, 2013

Willie Lee Robinson Sr., the third of nine children, was born July 31, 1954 to the union of the late Joe and Sallie Travis Robinson in Chicago, Illinois. Willie's early years of education was in the Chicago school system, his family later moved to Momence, Illinois where he attended the St. Anne Community High School in St. Anne, Illinois. He continued his education attending the Dixon Security Academy where he received his certification to become a security officer. Willie also attended the P.T.C. Career Institute of Nursing where he became certified as a nursing assistant. He would go on to work in the vocation of a nursing assistant providing quality care in the lives of others for more than ten years. Willie confessed his hope in Christ and was an ordained Deacon. Willie departed this life on March 5, 2013 leaving to cherish his memories are his children, Willie L. Robinson Jr. and Shamika Latrice Robinson both of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; his adopted son, Sinica Price of Chicago, Illinois; six grandchildren, Sir Jaden Robinson, Willie Robinson III, Sir Darien Robinson, Gabriel Robinson, Charlise King, and Cam'ron King; five brothers, Anderson, of Chicago, IL, Terrance of Elgin, IL, George of Los Angeles, CA, Micheal (Yetta) of Pembroke Twp., IL and Willie (Carrie) Hanner of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Mattie of Momence, IL and Minnie (Joseph) Baines of Pembroke Twp., IL; a sister-in-law, Laverne Robinson of Chicago, IL; his stepmother, Essie Robinson of Chicago, IL; several aunts and uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a very special friend, Daniel of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Sallie, two brothers, Frank and Joe Jr. and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
