Patricia Davis Brent, 62, of Urbana, IL, died August 31, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. Visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 3:00 P.M. at Lax Mortuary. Reverend Eugene Davis Sr. will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded. Patricia Davis Brent was born October 12, 1953 in Chicago, IL to Eugene Davis Sr. and Geraldine Hines Davis. She was baptized at Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend George Washington Sr. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert Brent; he preceded her in death. She worked for The Peterson/Puritan Company in Momence, IL. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Johnnita Davis of Chicago, IL and Sylvia Davis of Anniston, AL; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Tabatha Davis of Mt. Prospect, IL; her father, Reverend Eugene Davis Sr. of Chicago, IL; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Jeffery Hollins of Kankakee, IL, Mark and Tammy Hollins and Funzell and Connie Hollins, all of Phoenix, AZ and Gerald and Tomika Davis of Broadview, IL; six sisters and two brothers-in-law, Sylvia Hollins (Curtis) of Minnesota, Reatha Hollins of Kankakee, IL, Ronnette Hollins of Anniston, AL, Veleda and Douglas Mosley and Janette and James Payne, all of Chicago, IL and Toi Lee of Kankakee, IL; special friend, Ronnie Jackson of Hopkins Park, IL; 25 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Hines, a daughter, Geraldine Davis, a granddaughter, Jal Jones, a sister, Eddice Hollins and four brothers, Antonio Hollins, Bart Jesse Davis, Gilbert Davis and Eugene Davis Jr.
