Ky’la Allen, 11 months old, of White Bear Lake, MN, passed away April 9, 2017 at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. A family and friends gathering will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday April 24, 2017 at Lax Mortuary, followed by interment in Mound Grove Gardens of Memory. Ky’la Allen was born May 5, 2016 in Minneapolis, MN to Shytiana Spears and Cordell Allen. In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by a brother, Shamari Allen and a sister, Sha’nyla Allen, all of White Bear Lake, MN; her maternal grandmother, Erica Spears of St. Paul, MN; her paternal grandmother, Naomi Allen of Kankakee, IL; maternal great-grandmother, Ida Walters of Chicago, IL; paternal aunts and uncles, Antonio Allen, Lacarlynn Corbett and Evelyn Anthony, all of Kankakee, IL and Craig Nelson Jr. of Atlanta, GA; a host of maternal aunts and uncles, and other relatives and family friends.
