    ETHEL CARROLL

    August 14, 1950 - July 30, 2010

    Ethel Carroll, 59, of Kankakee, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Florida Hospital Celebration Health in Florida. Visitation will be Friday, August 6, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Lax Mortuary. Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Family Harvest Church, 18500 92nd Avenue, Tinley Park, IL 60487. Pastor Mike Kell will officiate. Burial will be in Kankakee Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Ethel Carroll was born August 14, 1950 in Holly Springs, Mississippi to Cornell and Clement Newsom Campbell. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Carroll Jr. on August 31, 1968. She was a member of Family Harvest Church where she served in the Children’s Ministry. She loved God and her family and enjoyed fishing and making people laugh. Mrs. Carroll was a cashier at Ultra Foods. She was a CNA, and was licensed as a minister, beautician and daycare operator. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Willie Carroll Jr. of Kankakee, IL; one son, Willie Carroll, III of Kankakee, IL; five daughters and one son-in-law, Terrina Campbell of Rockmart, GA, Beatrice and Jason Brownfield of Bradley, IL, Rosemary Carroll and Tanesha Carroll both of Kankakee, IL and Shawonna Carroll of College Park, GA; six brothers and three sisters-in-law, Alfred Campbell, Jesse Campbell, Liberachie Campbell, Willie Wells, Eric and Anna Waters, Cornell Jr. and Alnita Campbell and Bobbye Campbell, all of Memphis, TN; brothers-in-law, Charlie Carroll of Streator, IL and Donell DeBerry of Los Angeles, CA; three sisters-in-law, Lillie Carroll of University Park, IL, Doris and Ed Williams and Linda Robinson, all of Memphis, TN; nine grandchildren, Willie Carroll IV, Renaito Rapier, Roberta Grandison, Javon Bledson, Don Green, Daniel Brownfield, Tia Brownfield, Achauntia Jordan and Shyanne Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Omarion Chambers and Jamarri Grandison; aunts, Ethel Lee Chris of St. Louis, MO, Lizzie Bowens of Holly Springs, MS, Dora Gulledge of Memphis, TN and Gladys Gillespie of Ann Arbor, MI; uncles, Clayton Campbell, Richard Campbell and McArthur Campbell, all of Chicago, IL and George Campbell of Holly Springs, MS; special friends, Elder Johnnie Sykes of Sun River Terrace, IL and Thelma Sykes of Kankakee, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Clinton Campbell, Harold Campbell, Donald Campbell and Deadrick Campbell; four aunts and five uncles.
