Angela Green, 50, of Kankakee, IL passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Riverside Medical Center. Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Lax Mortuary and again on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 10:00 A.M. at Eastridge Church of the Nazarene, 2679 E. Court Street, Kankakee, IL. Pastor Kenneth Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens of Memory. Angela Green was born March 13, 1967 in Kankakee, IL to Victor and Naldia Shepard Green. She graduated from Kankakee Community College in 2007 with an Associate Degree in Marketing and Management. She completed her junior years at Governors State University. Angela had a very vivid imagination and a keen eye for creative detail, thus paving the way for her business, Just Imagine, to be born. As an event decorator and coordinator of creative party designs, Angela surpassed many expectations. Her decorating services included weddings, receptions, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, graduation parties, retirement parties, church events, and many other special events. Transforming your special day into a dazzling event, guests were able to see their greatest imagination brought to reality. Angela specialized in floral arrangements, balloons, and custom centerpieces. With over 20 years of creative design experience, her passion and creative vision honored oneÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s vision, style and budget. Your imagination was just a preview of endless possibilitiesÃ¢â‚¬Â¦Just Imagine! She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Victor Green of Harrisburg, IL; her sister, Audriea (Gregory Flournoy) Green of Kankakee, IL; two brothers and one sister-in-law, La Marr and Nicole Green of Kankakee, IL and Marcell White of Chandler, AZ; six nephews, Jordan, Taylor and Sidney Winfield, Zaire and Christian Green and Ja'Varius White, all of Kankakee, IL; three nieces, Jaylin Green and India and Aaliyah White, all of Kankakee, IL; aunts and uncles, Aiesha and Omar Abdul-Malik of Washington, DC, Vitda and Leroy Cross of Marion, IL, Velma Green of Kankakee, IL, Marion and Charles Constance of Dallas, TX and Paula Murry of Fayetteville, NC; special friends, Earl Dunlap, James Webber (godfather) and Diana Veal, all of Kankakee, IL, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; her maternal grandparents, Dorothy Shepard and John Henry Shepard; her paternal grandparents Mary Willis and Vollie Green.
