TYRONE KENNEDY SR.

Tyrone Deshawn Kennedy Sr., 24, of Kankakee, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Provena St. Mary's Hospital. Visitation will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at House of Prayer Apostolic Church of God from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral services there at 10:00 a.m. Evangelist Carolyn Butler will conduct the eulogy, Pastor Claudius Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens of Memory. Tyrone Deshawn Kennedy Sr. was born April 4, 1987 in Clifton, IL to Obie Kennedy and Helen Brooks. He was baptized into the Baptist faith. A 2006 graduate of Kankakee High School, he will be remembered most for keeping a great smile, how he took care of his family and as a happy person who loved the game of basketball. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Helen Brooks and father, Obie Kennedy, both of Kankakee, IL; one son, Tyrone Kennedy, Jr. of Kankakee, IL; three daughters, LaÃ¢â‚¬â„¢Nya Love, Amaya Kennedy, and Amarri Kennedy, all of Kankakee, IL; five brothers, Galactica and Jasmine Pope, Demetrius Bostic, Terrence Johnson, Ricky Austin and DÃ¢â‚¬â„¢Ayrius Kennedy, all of Kankakee, IL; one sister, Shemaiah Kennedy of Minneapolis, MN; maternal grandfather, Tommy Harris of Kankakee, IL, paternal grandparents, Obie Kennedy and Rosetta Kennedy both of Kankakee, IL; special friends, Jim Stevenson, Howard Wilson and Jade Rowe all of Kankakee,IL; a stepdaughter, Tresiya Love; maternal aunts and uncles, Annette and Robert Hammond, Carolyn Harris, Thomasina and Leonard Mobely all of Kankakee, IL, Estelle and Tyron James of Columbus, MS; paternal aunts and uncles, Steve and Pamela Harris of Detroit, MI, Brian Carter, Delector and Gloria Kennedy, Antwon Kennedy, Cameron Kennedy and Tristen Kennedy, all of Kankakee, IL, Charles Kennedy of Houston, TX, Cheryl Kennedy of Fort Mitchell, AL, and Reygan Kennedy of Bourbonnais, IL; special cousins, Darrien Ã¢â‚¬Å"LittleÃ¢â‚¬Â Kennedy of Kankakee, IL and Marcus Harris of Chicago, IL and special nephew, DeQuan Ã¢â‚¬Å"StinkaÃ¢â‚¬Â Pope of Chicago, IL and a host of other relatives and friends.
