Ashley Haase

Ashley M. Haase was born January 1, 1996 in Elmhurst, Illinois. In March, 2001 Ashley came to the home of Cary and Sharron Carson in Pembroke Township, Illinois. She soon felt loved and wanted and adopted the Carsons as her very own personal family, and Mary Lou Cloutier and Barbara Gullick as her personal godparents. Ashley attended grade school at Lorenzo Smith School in Pembroke Township, IL. She then attended St. Anne High School in St. Anne, IL where she walked and graduated with her class of 2015. Afterwards, she finished her education with Camelot until she was 22 years old. Ashley was a vibrant young lady with plenty of energy and spirit. She loved getting hugs and kisses, especially from her parents as there was never a dull moment while in her presence. She enjoyed listening to hip hop and soul rock music as long as she could move her head back and forth to its beat. She especially enjoyed the precious times she spent with her godparents, Mary Lou and Barb, celebrating her birthdays and holidays. One of her favorite pastimes was to look and shop in the daily store ads, especially the grocery ones. On Sunday, she would look forward to seeing the funnies section of the paper so she could shred it up after looking at it. On many good days she and her two dogs, Smauls and Weezie, would go in and out of the house. She and Weezie would sit in the swing together moving it back and forth while Smauls laid in front of them watching out to the road. Ashley made sure her family knew her presence when she came to visit. She never bothered to knock before entering, she just opened the door and walked right on inside, especially at her sister Catriese’s and Aunt Martha’s house. She would find the paper ads and spread them all over the floor to be picked up after she left. Ashley departed this life on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She leaves to cherish many fond memories, her parents, Cary and Sharron Carson of Pembroke Township, IL; her brother, Cary T. (Teneshia) Carson Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Catriese Carson-Jackson (Marion) and Margarita Carson, both of Kankakee, IL and Ellissa Hinton and Sherry Hinton, both of Chicago, IL; nephews, Ascenyo Carson of Houston, TX, Quintwain Dodson of Savannah, GA, Donald Carson, Sammie Hines and D’Andre Jackson, all of Kankakee, IL and Henry (Taneha) Jackson of DeKalb, IL; nieces, Jaida Carson of Goodfellow, TX, Asha (Marcel) Ward of Houston, TX and Elexis Jackson of Kankakee, IL; special aunt, Martha Glasper of Chicago, IL; godparents, Mary Lou Cloutier of Valpariaso, IN and Barbara Gullick of Willowbrook, IL, and a host of grand nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
